Responsibilities · Responsible for the parts availability of launch and series production until parts arrived customer destination according to PNW1 delivery requirement. · Responsible for the parts availability of series production until parts are packed for dispatch according to PNW2 delivery requirement. · Lead and steer the project of material control business, establish, and optimize the material control process for PNW1 and PNW2 business, deliver the internal and external training, ensure the business go-live. · Involve in vehicle project as the representative of material control, steer material control related process, coordinate with cross function departments, ensure the vehicle project SOP and EOP. · Involve in IT project related to material control function as the representative of material control for the exploration, end-to-end test, go-live check, stabilization, ensure the system solution for the material control process in PNW1 and PNW2 business. · Steer the completed supply process under emergency cases or critical situation, coordinate with cross function departments to make the best decision for supply control. · Responsible for material steering, maintain and ensure the data accuracy of the material master and the supply chain parameter. · Responsible for customer order management, communicate with customer plants, ensure customer order process. · Responsible for supplier call off, communicate with suppliers, ensure the call off process. · Responsible for inbound supply control, outbound supply control, and direct supply control, ensure part availability and KPI target. · Responsible for the delivery risk and emergency handling. · Responsible for stock level control and obsolescence control. Monitor stock accuracy, ensure the target of safety stock and obsolescence budget. · Responsible for the run-in and run-out parts management in the engineering change logistics process for vehicle project from SOP until EOP, ensure the engineering change logistics process implementation. · Responsible for supplier management, including logistics failure problem solving process, supplier performance management, supplier escalations process. · Responsible for the problem solving of the system issue to ensure the system performance in the daily business. · Initiate and involve in the project management, process optimization, system development, training event, and other department staff. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree or above, major in automotive engineering, logistics, international business or related. · Project management certification would be an advantage. · 5-7 years Background in logistics, supply chain management should be an advantage. · 3-5 years’ experience with material planning, supply chain management, transport logistics · 3-5 years’ experience in material management · Sound knowledge of logistic processes in the automotive industry. Knowledge of supply planning processes including packing, transport, material flow especially for material supply and material management. · Fully understand BMW baselaunch process and engineering change process. · Skills with ERP system, SAP or BMW system experience would be an advantage. · Competency of project management, collaboration, and problem solving. · Ability to work in a team, assertiveness, and good communication skills. · Strong interpersonal skills, such as fast learning, initiative and open minded. · Proficient English both in oral and written, German would be an advantage.
